Ink & Resin Works

Ink & Ink and resin artworks are created through successive layers of ink and clear resin, allowing colours, marks and forms from earlier layers to remain visible beneath the surface. This layered process gives each piece a strong sense of depth, texture and luminosity. As light moves across the resin and the artwork is viewed from different angles, new details and relationships emerge, making every piece feel visually changeable and alive. Donna O’Donoghue’s original ink and resin works are contemporary mixed-media artworks created in New Zealand.
