Donna O’Donoghue’s resin ocean artworks capture the expanse, depth, movement and emotion of the sea. Inspired by the wild West Coast and black-sand beaches of Taranaki, New Zealand, each contemporary resin seascape is built through multiple layers, creating flowing forms and a strong sense of depth beneath the surface. The smooth, luminous finish reflects changing light and reveals new details from different angles, echoing the power, softness and constantly shifting character of the ocean.
