DIY Aged - Faux Stone, Vase & Bottle

In this video, I am showcasing how I completed my two DIY Aged Vessels projects using my skills in upcycling and DIY techniques. I transformed ordinary vessels into unique decorative pieces with a stunning Faux-Aged Stone Effect. To give the vessels a rustic and vintage look, I added unique handles. The end result is a beautiful and distinctive addition to any home decor.

To achieve the Faux-Aged Stone Effect, I layered paint and other materials on the vessels to give them an authentic weathered appearance. The process is simple to follow and can be replicated by anyone with an interest in DIY projects. These vessels are perfect for displaying flowers, holding candles, or simply as a standalone decorative piece. The addition of handles makes them more functional and versatile.

I hope that this video inspires you to try your own aged stone vessels project.

I mixed the quick patch and covered the bottle and the vase, the vase I sprayed black the bottle I did not
Once this was dry I added some colour, this is when I decided the bottles needed handles
Rolling out the clay into cylinders/tubes I glued the vessel and places the handles, pulling the clay out and blending it into the concrete on the bottle, I was careful not to use too much water as this will add to the potential of the clay cracking
Once this was dry, I started adding the colour and the dirt to give the aged vessel feel.
